ABOUT GRAVITY FM
Birmingham's Underground Sound
Independent radio. Real DJs. Underground music.
Born in Birmingham. Built for the Underground.
Gravity FM is an independent Birmingham-based radio station dedicated to bringing the best underground dance music to the airwaves.
Broadcasting on 87.8 FM across Birmingham and surrounding areas, and streaming online worldwide, we're here to give underground music and local talent the platform they deserve.
From UK Garage and Bassline to Speed Garage, House, Jungle, Hardcore and Drum & Bass, Gravity FM is all about the music, the DJs and the community behind it.
More Than Just a Radio Station
We believe great music deserves to be heard, regardless of whether you're an established DJ or just starting out.
Gravity FM is built around passionate DJs who broadcast from their own studios, bringing their individual sounds, styles and personalities together under one station.
We're not about expensive memberships or charging DJs for airtime. We don't charge DJs to join, and we don't pay DJs to broadcast. We're about building a genuine community driven by a shared love of underground music.
Supporting Local Talent
Birmingham has a rich history of underground dance music, and we're proud to be part of that scene.
Our mission is to support emerging DJs, showcase established talent and connect listeners with music they might not hear on mainstream radio.
Whether you're tuning in from Birmingham or listening from the other side of the world, you're part of the Gravity FM family.
